Lighting Warranty
All Startex lighting collections are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year after delivery. We will, at our option, either send replacement part(s) or complete replacement products. Merchandise will not be accepted for return without return authorization. Upon approval, merchandise must be properly packaged (preferably in original carton) to prevent damage. Returned merchandise may be subject to a 25% restocking fee. Products kept in excess of 30 days may not be returned. Custom orders, non-stock shades and ceramic lamps are not returnable.
There are no other warranties except as expressly provided above and Startex makes no express or implied warranties of any kind with respect to the goods subject to the order. All express or implied warranties not expressly stated above, including without limitation the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose are hereby disclaimed. The law of the State of Illinois will govern all transactions and/or disputes.

Seating Warranty
Startex seating should be used for its intended purpose only. All furniture should be inspected frequently for broken welds, loose or missing screws or bolts or any other area of stress and wear. Furniture that is damaged or appears to be unstable should be removed from service immediately.

This warranty is made by Startex Industries Inc. to original purchasers acquiring seating products directly from an authorized dealer of Startex products. The purchasers’ remedy pursuant to this warranty is limited to repair or replacement of defective parts, or at Startex’s option, replacement of the chair with a comparable product. This warranty shall not apply to any products which must be replaced due to normal wear and tear, negligence, abuse, misuse or which have been altered. This warranty is the original purchaser’s sole remedy for defective product and Startex shall not be liable for consequential or other damages.

Startex warrants Value Collection seating products to be free from material defects and workmanship for the 1 year. This warranty applies to frames, mechanical control systems, pneumatic cylinders, and casters.
Startex warrants Endura Collection seating products from the date of purchase against failure due to material and workmanship for 7 years on component parts, including pneumatic cylinder, control mechanism, base and casters, and 1 year on remainder of chair. Variations in color or texture of natural materials and leathers are not considered defects. Upholstery is not warranted against routine scratching and scuffing as it is subject to minor blemishes in use.

All warranties are limited to the purchaser for the normal commercial usage defined as a standard forty hour work week by persons weighing 250 lbs. or less. This warranty does not cover labor or delivery charges. It does not cover freight or damage from misuse, abuse, negligence, alteration, accident, vandalism, rusting, alteration or damage caused by shipment or storage, fire, flood or acts of nature, or any other event beyond the control of Startex Industries. The warranty does not cover cosmetic damage that may result from normal use. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which may vary from state to state.

LED Mirror Warranty
This warranty is made by Startex Industries Inc. to original purchasers acquiring LED mirror products directly from an authorized dealer of Startex products. The purchasers’ remedy pursuant to this warranty is limited to repair or replacement of defective parts, or at Startex’s option, replacement of the LED mirror with a comparable product. This warranty shall not apply to any products which must be replaced due to normal wear and tear, negligence, abuse, misuse or which have been altered. This warranty is the original purchaser’s sole remedy for defective product and Startex shall not be liable for consequential or other damages.
This limited warranty covers LED mirror glass and structural components for five (5) years; electrical components, including wiring, connectors, and drivers for three (3) years.
All time periods are from the date of shipment from Startex to Purchaser. Parts or products replaced under warranty does not extend the original warranty.
This warranty does not cover labor or delivery charges. It does not cover freight or damage from misuse, abuse, negligence, alteration, accident, vandalism, rusting, alteration or damage caused by shipment or storage, fire, flood or acts of nature, or any other event beyond the control of Startex Industries. Normal wear and tear, slight black edging, and slight de-silvering are not covered by warranty. If stored prior to installation, mirrors must be kept in a dry indoor environment between 45 and 85 degrees Fahrenheit or the warranty is void. Warranties for mirror glass will be void if corrosive or ammonia-based cleaning products are used, or the edges and back of the mirror are not dried after each cleaning.
This warranty is void in the event the product is damaged in transit, or if damage or failure is caused by abuse, misuse, abnormal usage, storage of products in an improper environment, faulty installation, failure to follow installation instructions or Care and Cleaning instructions, damage in an accident, improper maintenance, or any repair. After the expiration of the warranty period, Startex has no further obligation under any warranty, either expressed or implied, including the implied warranty of merchantability.
Startex products must be installed by a qualified, licensed electrician and operated under suitable environmental conditions and in accordance with the latest National Electrical Code. This warranty will not apply in the event of conditions demonstrating abnormal use or stress, such as operating temperatures in excess of maximum rated temperatures or abnormally high humidity, under/over voltage conditions, excessive switching cycles or operating hours, dirty or cracked sockets, improper grounding, improper LED or driver installation, or what is considered normal wear and tear.
